One of my favorite go-to looks includes a pair of jeans and a denim top. Similarly to skinny jeans and a white tee, denim on denim for me is like a blank palette that I can start to decorate in any way that I choose. I love it. I can add a statement necklace or a simple piece of jewelry. I can wear flats or sneakers, pumps or boots. Whatever I feel like wearing for that day or for that occasion.
This time I chose this silver statement necklace. I always seem to wear this necklace with this top because it complements the silver and pearl-ish buttons. I love the way they look together. For shoes, I decided to wear my new blush lace-up pumps. I am loving anything lace-up these days. I actually paid full price for these and that NEVER happens. There was only one left in my size so I figured I’d better stop being cheap and get them before I miss out like I tend to do often by waiting on something to go on sale. And what is even more ridiculous is that the regular price is under $40. SMH. I can’t help it – I get it from my daddy. Haha!

These pumps have the cushioned foot bed and the heel is not to too high so they are comfy enough for all day wear. While the lace-up strings add a bit of sass to them, they are still appropriate for work.
