Floral Bomber Jacket

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving spending time with family and eating lots of good food! For those that did some Black Friday shopping, I hope you had some great finds. There were some awesome deals out there. So awesome that I couldn’t even access a website to buy the stuff in my cart because the site was at capacity! I was so distraught. But anywho…

Floral is one of those prints that I love to play around with. There is so much that can be done with it to create such different looks. So to see this print on a bomber jacket? Yep, I had to have it. The more wear I will get out of something, the more I am willing to invest in it. This floral bomber jacket is one of my current favorites. Most people would prefer to wear a solid top under it since floral is a busy print. This will work just fine as it can be jazzed up several ways. However, I wanted to do something different with it. I opted for a striped tee under it and added a long turquoise necklace. Mixing prints can be tricky, but if done right, it can create fabulous looks, but that is a later post. I decided to keep the bottom simple with black skinny’s and blush lace-up pumps.

I like that the jacket is lightweight for warmer temperatures, but allows room for thicker pieces underneath. Right now, it’s almost 80 degrees outside so I would only wear a tee or tank underneath. When it gets cooler, I can wear a sweater underneath it with a scarf to keep warm.
