I was wrong about this when I left my corporate job.
And I’m so glad I was.
In my corporate job, I had lots of support. I could send a Teams message to a group of people and there would be tons of help available if I got stuck on something or if I wanted to collaborate on something.
What I thought was: I would be on my own. I would no longer have support and I would be left to figure out everything on my own. This made it so much scarier to leave my corporate job, which caused me to stay even longer.
However, what I found to be true was: I have an even greater support system now as a full time entrepreneur. I have an amazing coaching community that I can reach out to at any time. I have a great network of entrepreneurs and others that I can collaborate with. And then, there’s me, the best and most important part of my support system.
I love knowing that others are there when I need them (and there are definitely lots of times when I need them). However, I learned to trust myself to have the answers too! I learned to trust that I know what’s best for me better than anybody else does. Most importantly, I learned to trust that no matter what happens, I will be ok. I’ve built that love and trust with myself to make a decision and have my own back regardless of how it turns out.
So, if you’re like I was, you’re probably thinking that if you leave your job, you’ll be left to figure out everything on your own.
That’s not true.
There are so many resources available. You just have to be open to them.
Most importantly, you have to trust yourself and your own wisdom when it comes to knowing what’s best for you.
And I’m here to help with that. If you’re ready to leave your job to follow your dream and are trying to find the courage to do so, click HERE for a consultation. Let’s talk about how I can help you create the security and courage you need to leave.
