You’re telling yourself that you can’t do what you really want to do.
I get it. My client used to tell herself the same thing.
Even though baking is what gave her life and made her days so much more enjoyable (I could literally see her face light up when she talked about it), she told herself that she couldn’t do it for a living because she wouldn’t make enough money.
She was afraid that she wouldn’t be able to support herself and her family from it. So we came up with plan for that.
The next thing that came up was that she didn’t have the time or energy to work on growing her business while working her full-time job. She was so tired and drained after work which left no energy for her business. So we worked through that.
She had another concern that she already feels guilty that she doesn’t spend enough time with her family and feels like this would take her away from them even more.
As we worked through each of her worries, she would always come up with something else.
The truth is that she was scared of failing.
And understandably so.
Interestingly, most of us CHOOSE to put 100% trust in our job – something that we have zero control over. But we’re not willing to bet on ourselves – the ONE thing that we have 100% control over.
Imagine going to your full-time job and doing a great job there and still having the energy after work to pursue your passion while also being present for your family.
This is what being willing to go all in on yourself will create for you.
You will wake up feeling so excited about your day because you get to do what you love and make an impact in the lives of everyone around you while doing it.
Just like my client who is now running a baking business with plans to leave her job soon, you are capable of so much more than you think. You just have to trust that if God gave you the desire, He’s given you everything you could possibly need to get it. Trust yourself.
You got this.
And I got you.
Let me help you go from feeling overwhelmed, overworked and burnt out to feeling passion in your career and finding meaning in what you do.
