The moment I decided I wanted to be a life coach, I was watching a video online about how it was the perfect career.
The coach’s story sounded exactly like mine:
?successful by society’s standards,
?yet unfulfilled in her corporate job,
?wanting to make more of an impact in the world,
?and feeling like she should be doing more.
A career as a life coach sounded like it solved for all of it AND it allowed for freedom and flexibility. ??
I was sold. I got certified in 2019 and officially started my coaching business.
I worked my full-time corporate job during the day and coached clients in the evenings and on the weekends for two years.
It was a lot of work, but it was everything my entire being wanted and needed.
In 2021, I left Corporate America to be a full-time coach.
It was by far the hardest and scariest thing I’ve ever done in my life, but I knew God was calling me to help more people.
And for me, not living into that and not serving the people I’m meant to serve was hardER and scariER. I tried it. Lol.
So bring on all the hard and scary that aligns with my purpose.
I was built for it.
