I am all about practicality and versatility when it comes to fashion. I would describe my style as classic contemporary. Maybe? Kinda, I guess? Well, however you describe it, I do not buy a lot of trendy items. I mostly invest in pieces that I can wear multiple ways, in multiple seasons, for multiple occasions, and with multiple other pieces. All kinds of mix ‘n matching going on ’round this joint.
Shoes are no different. When I buy a pair of shoes, I already have at least three outfits in mind to go with them (unless they are on CRAZY sale and I am left with no choice. Ha!). Although floral pumps are on trend for this Spring, I knew that they would become a staple in my closet for many years months to come. When I began the search for a pair of floral pumps, all I knew is that I wanted comfort and pink in the shoe. If they are comfortable, I will wear them to work and on the weekends. If they have pink in them, I will have tons of stuff to wear with them. So there.
These give me everything I wanted in a floral pump. They are so comfortable and they are full of bright, bold colors (including pink), which I absolutely love. They have a blue undertone so I am looking for another pair with a black undertone. Then I will be set on the floral shoes. For now. I think.
Anyway, I wear these with everything from skirts for work, to jeans and blouses or tees on the weekends. They will be on major repeat for Spring and Summer. This year and next year. ?
