I have received feedback from you guys here at P&G and on Instagram regarding the content for my blog and the majority of you would like to see more content around work wear ideas. With this in mind, I have decided to do a weekly roundup of my work outfits. I will provide the details of each piece and if something I’m wearing is old and no longer available, I will provide options that will help you to re-create the look. BTW, my favorite place to find things that have sold out or are no longer available in stores is Poshmark. Poshmark is my jam! If you haven’t joined, use code HZTPM and receive $5 off your first purchase.
If you are new to P&G, you will learn two things about me:
1.) I’m cheap. You can call it frugal or thrifty or any of the other lil fancy words for it if you want, but that’s the bottom line. I never pay full price for anything over $30 unless it’s shoes. In that case, it’s nothing over $31. LOL. I kid. But yeah, I’m a bargain shopper to the core.
2.) I buy a lot of staple and classic pieces because I like to mix and match and I like to be able to wear my clothes for years.
So now that you know that I’m an El Cheapo who likes classic pieces, let’s get into this week’s round up.
Houndstooth for Casual Friday. I LOVE this houndstooth print sweater. The colors bring so many possibilities. I chose dark skinny jeans and burgundy lace up booties to keep the rest of the outfit simple. Now these booties, I paid full-price for. Only because I knew they would sell out before they went on sale.

Olive and Lilac. This olive shirt is an oldie from NY and Company. I remember finding it on clearance for like $8. It’s a little big on me, but I couldn’t beat the price for such a pretty blouse so I make it work. Sometimes I wear it with I paired it with these lovely lilac pants. SN: 95% of my work pants and skirts are from The Limited which no longer exists so I’ll be linking other options for pants.

Mustard, Blush and Navy. Blush and mustard are just meant to be together. The navy blazer gives it a more professional and polished look. Then I brought it all together with my favorite leopard pumps. They are really old, but I found some options for these exact ones on Poshmark.

Coral, White and Gray. These pants and blouse are both clearance finds at Old Navy. I found the pants for $9.99 and the blouse for $4.99. The embroidery and the stand-up collar on the blouse is what got me…not the price. Yeah, right. These silver caged pumps are another full-price purchase because they were so unique and I would not find them again. And guess what? Cannot find them.

Mustard, Pink, and Navy. My favorite outfit of the week. It’s so bright and colorful. I love it. Everything is way old except for the booties. I scored these babies after Christmas for half off.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I hope you enjoy this new round up series!
