I’ll start on Monday.
I’ll start next month.
I’ll start on New Year’s.
We are conditioned to think that we have to start something new at the beginning of the week, month, or year.
Why though?
If you chose not to go to the gym this morning, why not go after work?
If you chose not to start writing yesterday, why not start today?
You don’t have to wait another whole day, week, month, or year to get started.
It’s just an excuse not to do something that you’re uncomfortable doing.
Thinking that you’ll be “more ready” at a later time.
Let me just let you in on a secret: you’re never gonna be “ready“.
Today, tomorrow, on Monday, on New Year’s. You’re just not.
We’re human and it’s the way we’re built.
We just have to remind ourselves that we are not perfect and that we will make mistakes. We will even fail. But what matters most is that we show up for ourselves and do the work we’re meant to do in the world.
Today.
Because what if we don’t have until tomorrow? Or Monday? Or New Year’s?
If you’re stuck in a rut and can’t seem to get yourself going, reach out to me. Let me help you. It’s free. Click here.
