You Don’t Need A Sign. You Need Permission.

Have you ever been faced with a major decision and prayed for a sign on what to do?

Take a second to think about that. How many times did you REALLY have NO clue about what you should do?

Not many, right? More times than not, we know EXACTLY what we need to do.

I recently read something that said “you’re not looking for a sign, you’re looking for permission.” And it’s the truth.

You’re looking for a sign to tell you what you already know you need to do.

You already know you need to ask for help. You already know you need to talk to your boss. You already know you need to leave that job. You already know you need to get out of that relationship.

So why do we ask for a sign when we already know?

Because we don’t trust our own wisdom. We look for external permission as if everybody else knows what’s best for us.

Nobody knows about your journey better than you. Nobody knows about your calling better than you. Nobody knows about those nudges better than you. Nobody knows about your true desires better than you. Nobody knows about your prayers better than you.

Trust yourself to know what’s best for you. You don’t need a sign. You need permission.

Give it to yourself.
